Many of the regions of the Himalayan region have yet to be ravelled. One such region is the Kingdom of mustang located in western Nepal. Isolated and forbidden from rest of the world for many centuries it has evolved into a region with its own traditions and culture, its distinctive terrain only emphasising on its uniqueness.

The landscape resembles that of the surface of the moon, eroded sandstones and inconsistent residues of debris, making a colourful medley of earthen colours. As the sun begins to fall on this land void of trees, strong winds howl only to subside by night fall. Set against the shadow of dominating peaks such as the “Dhaulagri” and “Manaslu” it is a must visit destination in Nepal.
